About Ravi Vazirani
Ravi Vazirani is the founder and creative head behind Ravi Vazirani Design Studio, a boutique practice based in a quiet, lush cul-de-sac in Bandra, Mumbai. A self-taught designer, Ravi has established himself as a leading figure in the design industry, being named Elle Décor Product Designer of the Year in 2022 and included in Architectural Digest’s list of the 50 most influential names in architecture and design in the Indian Subcontinent. In 2019, his studio received the Practice of the Year award from Trends Magazine. The studio’s projects have been featured in various publications such as Elle Decoration, Architectural Digest, Vogue, Casa Vogue, and Design Anthology, among others.
Since its establishment in 2010, the studio has taken on a diverse range of projects, including office spaces, homes, stores, and restaurants, catering to clients who value aesthetics, functionality, and a touch of je ne sais quoi. His unique aesthetic has been sought after by notable celebrities as well as high net worth individuals (HNIs) and business leaders. Ravi’s design process is deeply personal as he draws inspiration from everything he encounters, whether it be his surroundings or his travels. However, what truly drives his artistry are his clients’ needs, aesthetics, and life stories. This personal approach is reflected in the unique stamp of craftsmanship and flair that is uniquely his own, making no two designs alike.
In 2020, the studio launched a product line of collectible furniture, titled Qit.A, adding yet another feather to his cap, which was well received by the industry and clients alike. “Qit.A” in Urdu is a stanza and a collection of many qit.as makes a qitab, meaning a book.
