I had been styling celebrities for past 33 years, it has been a lovely experience. I’m specialized in dramatic eye make-up and unique hair styling. New challenges and working with divas is what keeps me going through the years.
I studied commerce in college and also topped ICWA course giving up a well-paying job to study hair and make-up styling in Miami School of Design, U.S.A. I decided to follow my passion and make it my career option. Bollywood is what inspired me then and it still does, after all these years.
Suniel Shetty gave me first break as a costume stylist in his designer boutique. I had styled Perizaad for many Ad films, stage shows and also her file ‘Joggers Park’. I & Ishaa worked together in a music video titled ‘Bhor’. I styled Hrishita for the song ‘Huzoore Aala’ in the file ‘Page 3’ as a fashion stylist, some of my clients were Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit and Pooja Bhatt. I had work with some of the biggest Bollywood divas including Sridevi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Malaika Arora, Sushmita Sen, Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Mahima Chaudhary and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja.
I had also styled Mariah Carey, Britney Spears & Ishaa for an international award night. Working all around the globe was very interesting and challenging at the same time as every place has different preferences. It is always fun working on brides from different parts of the world. I truly believe they deserve the best look for their big day. There comes my best makeovers to make that special day more special for all the brides.
